Kappa Gamma Chapter History

The Kappa Gamma Chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta was founded at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 1999. We are 1 of 3 National Panhellenic Conference sororities on campus.

Greek Week Champs of the years:

1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, and 2009.

Highest Chapter GPA Scholarship Award Fall 2007

Highest New Member GPA Scholarship Award

The chapter earned five stars in the Five Star Program, which recognizes chapter excellence in leadership, membership, philanthropy, scholarship and sisterhood!

Outstanding Community Service Award Fall 2008

Kappa Gamma Chapter raised 3000 Dollars for the

American Diabetes Association.

Kappa Gamma Chapter raised the most money for Relay for Life

for the American Cancer Society.

Kappa Gamma Chapter participated and volunteered at the Walk for Diabetes held in downtown Corpus Christi.

Kappa Gamma Chapter dedicated their time and effort into numerous other community service activities as well as assisting other fraternities and sororities with their philanthropy.
